an expression of thanks for the assistance given
by the Hongkong Government towards the detection
of the crime. The draft of the above letter of
apology and thanks will be shown to His Majesty's
Consul General at Canton and declared acceptable
by him.
5. When all the conditions above mentioned
have been faithfully carried out, the Hung case
will be considered as definitely settled, and no
more questions will be raised in regard to it by
the Hongkong Government against the Chinese Govern-
ment.
